The apology
"The system can't do that." We said that sentence for years, to people running plants, crews and rental portfolios with real money on the line. Eventually it stopped sounding like a technical fact and started sounding like something we were paid to say.
How we got here
We started on sites as installers and ended up running our own company doing CCTV, fire alarm, access control, smart home and cabling, from private houses to shopping centres. Alongside that, years in processing and manufacturing, where every order moves from raw materials through production to shipping. After that came the implementations: heat exchange and protective equipment manufacturers, concrete plants, road sign production, builders, an operator with 1,500 rental units across several countries, law firms, distributors, logistics, vertically integrated holdings, accounting firms and service businesses of every kind.
